Colleagues from Specsavers in Dorking is delighted to welcome Mark Kemp to the team as part of its optical apprenticeship programme.
18-year-old Mark is one of many apprentices across the UK on the UK’s biggest government accredited scheme.
Mark will get to learn about how the business works, attend courses and gain a year's experience with the Dorking store. During his time, Mark will get to experience lots of different areas of the business, from customer service to learning about the optical industry and will benefit from the training courses available to him.
The apprenticeship scheme is open to anyone over the age of 16 and does not require any prior optical experience. Mark could well be one of many employees at Specsavers who goes on to become a dispensing optician within five years.
