With the festive season behind us, opticians in Diss are keeping the spirit going and committing to counter the January blues by offering local residents discounted sight tests during weekday clinics in January.
The post-Christmas period is traditionally a time when the purse strings are tight and people do not have money to spare but Specsavers in Diss are urging locals to remember the importance of their health and to not neglect the need to get their eyes tested.
Store director, David Richardson, said: ‘We all know how difficult it can be following the Christmas period and people are often reluctant to spend any money. However, we do not want this to be an excuse for people who need their eyes tested and for this reason we are offering our customers £5 sight tests during all of our weekday clinics for the month of January.
Serious health conditions
We urge people to remember that an eye test at Specsavers is not only a way to examine someone’s eye sight but can also diagnose other potentially serious health conditions such as Glaucoma and Diabetes.’
