Members of the team at Specsavers in Didcot put their best foot forward for charity in July by organising volunteers and high-visibility vests for the Didot 5 charity run.
Five members of the team volunteered for the event, which was attended by more than 300 race goers. Store director, Adela Garcia, was tasked with finding 50 volunteers to help on the day, all of which received a high-visibility vest donated by the Specsavers store.
A word from the store director
‘It was great to be able to support the Didcot 5 run by organising volunteers, high-visibility vests and more than 300 goody bags for those that took part’, said Adela. ‘The run raised £3,000 in total, which was split between two local charities - the Earth Trust and Style Acre.’
