The team at Specsavers in Didcot are championing road safety in the community by donating high visibility vests to local children.
As part of an initiative to keep children safe in the darker months, staff are offering free high-visibility vests to children who visit the store, while stocks last. The donation is part of the store’s ongoing commitment to help local children stay safer on the streets.
A word from the store director
Store director Rukhsana Bi, said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to donate these high-visibility vests to local children. Anything that helps to educate young people about road safety or to make them more visible, especially to drivers, is invaluable.’
The store has also donated 30 adult high-visibility vests to members of Didcot Runners to ensure their volunteers will be seen during the annual Didcot five-mile charity run which will be held next July.
