Specsavers Derby is recognising the priceless contribution of the emergency services to the local community this month, by offering free eye tests for all those working in the industry.

All members of the emergency services are being encouraged to pop into store and have their sight checked.

‘Having good vision is a crucial part of the job for those in the emergency services,’ said store director Uan Gohil. ‘So, by running this special offer we are helping those who do such a selfless job in protecting and aiding the Derby community with their eyecare needs.

‘We have all been touched in some way by the fantastic work that those within the emergency services do, so we want to offer this small gesture as a thank you for their commitment.’

Anybody in the emergency services can take advantage of the offer, which will be running from Monday 28 May until Sunday 3 June, which will include free sight tests, 35% off a single pair of glasses, 25% off the 2 for 1 deal and free lens spray and cleaning kits. Those who sign up to receive their contact lenses by direct debit will also receive 50% off. Simply present your ID Card when you arrive in store.
