Specsavers has teamed up with the Daventry Express for its second annual photographic competition in May to crown the Daventry Photographer of the Year and the Daventry Junior Photographer of the Year.
There were two categories; adult (16 and over) and junior (under 16s).
The junior winner was nine-year-old Sam Green from Staverton, who was presented with a camera worth £240. While the senior winner, Paul Dwyer from Daventry received a lens worth £450.
Specsavers store director Steve Richardson said: ‘All contestants should be proud of the photos they took. Each shot captured an aspect of Daventry in a new and innovative light, something I hope to see more of next year!’
