A charity quiz night in aid of St Teresa’s Hospice, organised by a local opticians, has raised a three figure sum for the charity.
Specsavers in Darlington raised a total of £273.56 following the event, held to generate vital funds for the hospice – a charity very close to their hearts.
The fun filled quiz night took place in The Keys on Skinnergate and the money was raised through ticket sales, a tombola and a raffle.
The store has chosen to support St Teresa’s Hospice as its charity for 2018 to show appreciation for the first-class care it provided for a late member of staff, Liz Austin, and her family.
