The Dalston store celebrated seventeen years of caring for the eyesight of the community by holding a birthday party fundraiser, where the store raised £350 for a local charity.
Specsavers in Dalston, located in Kingsland Shopping Centre, hosted the fundraiser in aid of Sunny Days Children’s Fund. The charity supports under 18s with medical conditions such as blindness, cerebral palsy, leukaemia, and terminal illnesses. Grants are made to assist these children to fund trips, buy medical equipment and help to make their wishes come true.
The fundraising bash included a fantastic prize draw giving ten lucky people a pair of designer glasses each; while a face painter was on-hand during the day to keep little visitors happy.
