Specsavers, Dalgety Bay welcomes a new Optician Director this month. Clair Speed, joins existing Retail Director, Natalie Stewart-Murphy, in overseeing the optical and hearcare business.

 

Clair and Natalie, both born and bred in Fife, have taken the helm following the retirement of previous Optician Director, Andy Hepburn in September.  

 

Ms Speed brings 20 years of optical experience to her new role having completed her pre-registration training with Specsavers. She qualified as an optometrist in 2003. Clair has previously worked in both the Dunfermline and Glenrothes Specsavers stores.

Clair says: ‘Having worked for Specsavers for a long time, I am thrilled to take the next step in my career as Optician Director at Dalgety Bay. I’m looking forward to getting to know both the team and customers and creating a positive impact on the business.’

 

Natalie Stewart-Murphy, Retail Director of the Dalgety Bay branch, says: ‘We’re excited to welcome Clair to the store. Dalgety Bay’s first year in business has already proven to be successful and we look forward to the next chapter with Clair and myself leading the charge.’

 

Store amenities and services

Specsavers Dalgety Bay offers free parking with easy access for both disabled customers and those travelling with pushchairs.

 

The full breadth of optical and audiology services, including routine eye and hearing tests, contact lens consultations, frame repairs and the sale of glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids and other products, are now available. Specsavers’ home visit teams have also restarted services, providing eyecare and hearing services at home for people who would not be able to visit a store without assistance.
