A duo of talented team members are currently the focus of attention at the Crewe store after both passing a prestigious industry accreditation with flying colours.
It’s certainly a case of congratulations all round in Crewe where Gareth Williams and Amy Simms are celebrating qualifying as dispensing opticians after completing years on study in store and at university.
Top of the class
Amy and Gareth become Fellows of the British Dispensing and are now registered with the General Optical Council.
The pair’s success has been hailed by store director Michael Elleray as proof of the business’s commitment to nurturing the very best of South Cheshire’s talent.
He said: ‘On behalf of all the team, I would like to congratulate Gareth and Amy on their own personal successes.
‘It is fantastic to have two qualify at the same time so there’s a great vibe in the store. We have a fantastic team here and they have all worked incredibly hard. Each and every one of the qualifications is certainly very well deserved.’
Onwards and upwards
‘Our amazing and loyal customers are the reason we are able to continue to develop and improve the optical and hearing care we provide to the people of Crewe. It is because of their support that our team continues to grow and succeed.’
Gareth, aged 32, said he’s now planning to focus on the next step of his Specsavers career at the Market Street store.
‘We’re absolutely thrilled to have passed. The team here are all so incredibly supportive so it’s been a really rewarding experience to work and learn alongside so many hugely experienced people.
‘I’m enjoying every minute and determined to continually improve my own skills here.’
