Recognising the diversity of the local community, Specsavers in Cowley are proud to announce the wealth of languages spoken by its team. Speaking a total of 17 languages, from Malaysian and Indonesian through to Punjabi and Arabic, the Specsavers team are able to cater for customers from an array of ethnic backgrounds.
‘We’re incredibly proud to serve customers in an area which celebrates such diversity,’ said Jason Komodikis, store director. ‘With our team speaking so many languages between them, we’re able to make all our customers feel comfortable when they visit us and ensure they’re getting the most out of their visit.’
Angelina, a dispensing optician at the store, holds a Masters in languages and speaks a total of five languages, including: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Bulgarian and Afrikaans.
Jason continued: ‘We’ve found that some of our customers visit us specifically to see Angelina, so we’re particularly impressed with the work she’s doing to support our customers.’
