Specsavers Corstorphine has helped a team of footballers train in style thanks to a new sponsorship agreement.
The store is proud to announce a year-long sponsorship deal for Clermiston Star Football Club, enabling the players to sport brand new strips.
The store has gifted more than £680 to the club as part of its ongoing support for local organisations and charities.
Supporting local team
Adam Gordon, store director for Specsavers Corstorphine, said: ‘It is an absolute pleasure to support Clermiston Star FC and gift them with new strips through the sponsorship.
‘Supporting sporting teams, especially within the local area, means a lot to Specsavers.
‘We hope the strips give them an extra spring in their step when playing in their future games and we wish the team all the best for the rest of the season.’
Darren Russell, club manager, said: ‘We are really grateful for the support we have received from Specsavers Corstorphine, it’s great to see them supporting a local amateur team.
‘We pride ourselves on bringing the community closer together and giving back to them, Specsavers generosity is very much appreciated.
‘I know all the guys are extremely excited to be playing in brand new strips, they all train really hard each week and play really well together as a team. We’re looking forward to a successful season, boosted by our fantastic new strips.’
