Specsavers Corstorphine has offered its support to a local charity aimed at creating a playground for families with children with varying abilities.

The store is proud to announce a £1000 fundraising partnership with Project Play, Corstorphine Primary School's community playground.

Commitment to local charities

The opticians is sponsoring a commemorative wooden bench within the park that will be unveiled at the launch party in September, underlining the store’s commitment to local charities.

The design competition was opened up to all pupils of Corstorphine Primary School, who were asked to sketch a design of a recognition feature that could be carved from wood. The winning bench design from Ollie Tomczyk, incorporates the school's horn emblem and the Corstorphine lantern motif.
