A Corstorphine audiology expert is now offering ear wax removal as part of an all-encompassing ear health check.

The audiologist is fully trained to professionally remove excess ear wax which may be causing discomfort or difficulty hearing.

A word from our hearing director

Jonathan Bell, hearing director at Specsavers Audiologists in Edinburgh said: ‘Wax build-up also makes it very difficult to perform accurate hearing tests, so this new service means customers can have everything managed at the same time.

'It also takes away the need for a customer to be referred to their GP, relieving pressure on the NHS and removing the hassle of re-booking a test.

‘If you notice any of the symptoms of impacted wax, including sudden or partial hearing loss, tinnitus, a feeling of fullness in the ear or earache, then we advise you to visit our audiologist in store who can help resolve the issue.’
