Specsavers in Colchester is looking to expand with plans to double in size as part of a major redevelopment. The changes will provide new facilities, increased space and more efficient services to customers in the town.
Quick and efficient
With extra retail space and the installation of additional consulting rooms, the refurbishment will substantially reduce the waiting time for sight test appointments, enabling the team to respond efficiently to the increasing volume of customers.
A significant investment in Colchester
With £350,000 planned to be invested into the store’s expansion, Specsavers on Long Wyre Street will ensure customers continue to receive the same first-class service the nearly 30-year-old business has become renowned for.
Store director, Nick Hagan, says the significant investment represents Specsavers’ commitment to Colchester, where the optician has been based for the past nine years. ‘This gives us the capacity to meet increasing demand for our services and products, cut waiting times for appointments and ensure that our customers receive the very best service possible.’
Nick concludes: ‘We thank our amazing customers for their continued loyalty over the past 29 years, specifically the last six that we have been in our current location. We look forward to sharing many more with customers old and new that we will soon be able to facilitate in our bigger and better store. Watch this space!’
