Budding bakers at a Coatbridge opticians helped raise £245 for St Andrews Hospice, providing a welcome boost to the charity just in time for Christmas.
Specsavers Coatbridge hosted a stall with home baked goods and St Andrews Hospice merchandise in store and thanks to the generous donations and support from local residents, it raised a great sum for the hospice.
The season of goodwill
Keith Sharp, store director at Specsavers Coatbridge, said: ‘Christmas is the season of goodwill and it was great to present St Andrews Hospice with a cheque at this time.
The hospice offers a fantastic service in providing care for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. We are proud to show our support for the work they do.
