Clevedon Specsavers celebrated ten years of business on Saturday 22 October by hosting a birthday fun day in store, complete with cake and balloons and lots of entertainment.
The team made the most of their birthday celebrations, inviting customers and local charity Clevedon Pride - a volunteer organisation dedicated to the regeneration and improvement of Clevedon Town Centre - to join in on the fun.
A word from the store director
‘It is such a fantastic milestone for the store and we were delighted to be able to share it with our lovely customers,’ commented store director, Emma Perrigo. ‘It shows how far we have come since opening ten years ago, growing from six staff to a team of 13 and completing 200 eye tests a week.’
‘It was great having the ladies from Clevedon Pride along for the day. They are an amazing local charity and are always striving to make Clevedon a nice place to live. We have sponsored their bin bags for two years in a row, which are used to collect all the litter and rubbish in the area. We cut the cake together, and it was our chance to say thank you for all they do in the Clevedon and for allowing us to be a part of the change.
Emma added: ‘We’re really proud to have been able to support a number of local charities since opening ten years ago and are delighted to continue our support. In addition to Clevedon Pride sponsorship, we are also sponsoring this year’s Christmas activity in Queens Square.’
