There was ‘claws’ for celebration at Specsavers in Clapham with the arrival of a special guest to help launch the store’s new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom specs.

Customers and staff visiting the opticians on 16 May were greeted by a friendly T.Rex, who had popped in for his first eye test since 200 million BC.

During his visit, the prehistoric patient was delighted to see himself and his dinosaur pals featured on the store’s latest range of kids’ glasses, which will tie-in with the cinematic release of blockbuster movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom on 7 June.

Roaring success

Graham Tritton, store manager at Specsavers Clapham, said: ‘We were delighted to invite our first-ever prehistoric customer to the store this month, who said he expects our new Jurassic World glasses will be a roaring success with our younger specs wearers.’

The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom glasses are available in six frame styles and aimed at boys and girls aged four to eight years old.
