The team at the Specsavers store has also been taking donations from young customers to enter a funny face drawing competition, with their creative works being displayed in the Funny for Money gallery in store. They are also encouraging customers to purchase a pair of Red Nose Day Funny for Money glasses and take a photograph of themselves in the specs to be included in the gallery.
Irfan Akhtar, store director of Specsavers Chiswick, said: ‘We’ve already kicked off our fundraising efforts in support of Red Nose Day, and we are looking forward to seeing our customers make their faces funny for money with the glasses.
‘We displayed our young customers’ best funny face drawings in our Funny for Money Gallery throughout half term and are hosting a onesie day with staff dressing up and selling cakes to raise money for the cause.
‘We look forward to seeing as many customers as possible pop along to the store to purchase their glasses or a sweet treat and lend their support for Red Nose Day.’
