Optician Tom Mogford from Specsavers in Chippenham is celebrating after he was recognised for ten years’ service as a store partner.
A decade of dedication
After completing a bachelor of science degree in Optometry at A.P.U in Cambridge, Tom carried out his pre-reg training at Taunton Specsavers. In 2010, he took on the role as store director at Specsavers in Street before joining the team at Chippenham in 2014. Alongside co-director, Michael Thompson, they run the store in Borough Parade.
A word from Tom
‘I first started working at Specsavers when I was 19 during my degree,’ said Tom. ‘During my ten years as a store partner, I’ve seen things change quite a bit. Recent months have obviously been like nothing we’ve ever experienced before, and it required us all to adapt. The way the team responded has been fantastic, and our customers have been great too, supporting us throughout.
‘It’s brilliant to be able to celebrate my ten-year milestone, and I’m proud of what’s been achieved in that time. Who knows what the next ten years will bring, but I’m looking forward to the challenge.’
