Eyecare experts in Chesham have launched a summer fundraising campaign in support of people affected by sight loss.
Specsavers on High Street has partnered with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) in a bid to raise cash to provide people with sight loss with support and advice to help them face the future with confidence.
A word from the store director
Heena Thaker, Specsavers store director in Chesham, said: ‘While you might think that there is nothing you personally can do to support people with sight loss, in fact, by donating just £5 to the RNIB you could help 30 people to further understand their eye condition.
‘Our aim is to raise as much money as we can over the summer months for this cause which is close to our hearts as opticians, and every donation counts. Our collection box is now in place at our till point.’
