On Wednesday 18 April, the hearcare team from Specsavers in Cheltenham North West brought the local health community together at Sainsbury’s café for a wellness morning.
Between 10am and 12pm, teams from Lloyds Pharmacy and Specsavers were joined by members of the community to raise awareness about the importance of hearing tests and access to hearcare in Cheltenham.
‘The team made great effort to ensure the morning was a success,’ said PR co-ordinator, Emily Ashman. ‘We are lucky to have such a tight-knit community here in Cheltenham and we’d like to thank everyone for coming along, it was lovely to see relationships forming.’

Amanda Ellis, hearing aid dispenser, said: ‘Loss of hearing is surprisingly common and when hearing is impaired, it can have such as negative impact on quality of life. With the right solutions, we can prevent hearing loss from being a worry, which is why hearing tests are so important.
'These days people are amazed by how small and innovative hearing aids can be, so it’s good to spread the word as much as we can by hosting events like this one.’
