Specsavers Cheltenham North West have been going Christmas crackers with a whole host of festive activities taking place at the store.
Raising money for charity
The team have raised £150 for the charity Family Space by selling goody bags which included a cracker filled with a special offer.
Children were also able to buy reindeer food (AKA porridge oats and glitter) to leave out for Rudolph et al on Christmas Eve.
Children’s creative skills are also being put to the test and they’re being asked to create Father Christmas using a paper plate and some cotton wool.
These are being displayed around a Christmas garland at the front of the store. A winner, who will receive a £15 WHSmiths voucher, will be announced on Friday 22 December.
A word from the store director
‘We’ve gone Christmas crazy in the store, which seems to have gone down well with staff and customers,’ said store director, Melanie Brackstone.
‘Family Space is a charity we’ve been supporting throughout the year, but Christmas is perhaps a time when they need it the most, so we were thrilled to sell all of the cracker-filled goody bags we made.
'We’ve also had lots of entries in the Father Christmas competition so far and we’re looking forward to picking the winner.’
