The teams from both Specsavers stores in Cheltenham have shown their support for Macmillan Cancer Support by taking part in this year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

A great day

On Friday 28 September, staff offered customers an array of delicious home-baked treats and hot drinks in return for donations. The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has raised more than £10 million so far this year. Both Specsavers stores raised £100 each, adding £200 to this year’s fundraising total.

‘Macmillan do such a brilliant job across the UK and we are always happy to show our support across both the Cheltenham stores,’ said PR Coordinator, Emily Ashman. ‘The coffee and cake went down a treat and we’d like to say a big thank you to our customers for supporting our fundraising efforts.’

Last year people across the UK raised almost £30 million for Macmillan by taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. It is Macmillan’s aim to support those affected by cancer and ensure nobody faces it alone.
