Red was the colour of choice at Specsavers Cheltenham as part of fundraising activity taking place on Red Nose Day (Friday 24 March).
The team baked Red Nose Day themed cakes which customers were able to sample in return for a donation. Staff also wore Red Nose Day t-shirts, red wigs and the official comedy waving hand glasses.
‘We all had great fun on the day,’ said store director, Melanie Brackstone. ‘Our customers enjoyed it too so a big thank you to everyone who came down and showed their support.’
Specsavers Cheltenham joined stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa and pledged to raise at least £250,000 for the charity.
