The team from Chelmsley Wood Specsavers hosted a fundraising frenzy over the Easter long weekend, raising more than £148 for national charity Marie Curie.
Staff from the store in Greenwood Square had an Easter hamper kindly donated from local café, Jac’s to raffle off, as well as a sweet sale and free sight tests on offer. The team also ditched their uniforms in favour of yellow clothes and Easter head pieces, getting into the spirit of the long weekend celebrations.
A word from the store director
Sukhwant Drake, store director at Specsavers in Chelmsley Wood said: ‘It was such a fun weekend for our team and we’re delighted that so many of our customers supported the cause and donated generously.
'Thanks to everyone’s backing we’re able to donate to Marie Curie and support their brilliant work in the UK.’
