The Easter bunny visited Chelmsley Wood Specsavers on Saturday 19 April in the name of a good cause.

The store ran a treat-filled Easter Saturday, raising more than £150 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.  The team, who were dressed in yellow, baked cakes and sold the charity’s daffodil pin badges, while younger visitors were encouraged to take part in a colouring competition.

‘It was certainly a bright day, in more ways than one – with our yellow outfits matching people’s sunny dispositions,’ says store director Sukhi Drake.  ‘The cakes went down a storm and we are delighted to have raised the money for Marie Curie – a charity which has supported one of our team members.’

Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal illnesses.
