With three million eye tests missed over lockdown in the UK, Chelmsford Specsavers has brought in a new store partner to support in helping the community get back on track and to help keep their eyes healthy.
Mark Gurry, who joins the store as the new dispensing optician director, has been in optics for the last 23 years and joins the store from Specsavers in Peterborough.
A word from the new store partner
Mark says: ’It has been great to start getting to know the wonderful Chelmsford community. Having been through such a difficult time in lockdown, I am so pleased that we can support all of those who are now coming in for appointments.
‘While there is still uncertainty around Covid, we are doing everything we can to ensure that the Chelmsford community are kept safe when coming in for their appointments.’ Mark continues: ‘I am looking forward to growing the store and working with the team to look after local customers and residents as we navigate the new normal.’
