Staff from the Chatham Specsavers store put on a frightful surprise for their daring guests as they donned their scariest outfits for Halloween to raise funds for the Friends of the Wisdom Hospice, in Chatham.
A host of fundraising activities
Visitors to the stores were faced with vampires and witches as staff got into the spirit of the day with customers, trick-or-treats goodie bags for children and scary decorations.
The store, with the help of other local businesses, such as Nucleus Restaurant, Sainsbury’s and Go Ahead, also organised an in-store raffle. Overall, they managed to raise over £250 for the great cause.
A word from the store director
Punit Patel, store director at Specsavers in Chatham, said: ‘It’s not every day the store staff get a chance to dress up in work, particularly in their scariest Halloween get ups so it was a very enjoyable day for everyone, especially the customers.
'We are always keen to raise funds for charities which are all close to our hearts and we thought this was a great opportunity for us to let our hair down and encourage customers to join in and donate to a great cause.’
