A local opticians went all in to celebrate the Royal Wedding in style last week, while also raising funds for an important cause.
The team at Specsavers in Chatham donned their best tiaras and occasion hats to get into the spirit of the day, while also dressing the store with Union Jack flags, photos of the bridal couple and the Royal family, congratulations signs, wedding cake and scones and even playing wedding music.
Raising money for charity
Most importantly though, the team used the occasion to promote the important work that Help for Heroes does and to raise funds for the important charity.
A word from the store director
Punit Patel, store director at Specsavers in Chatham, says: ‘We thought it was important to celebrate the wedding in style, but also to use the occasion to raise awareness of the important work that Help the Heroes does.
‘Although it’s a shame that Harry and Meghan couldn’t pop by, we believe our customers enjoyed the celebration!’
