The team at Specsavers Chatham in the High Street like getting out and about and sharing their knowledge and experience with the wider community.
And optometrist Charlotte Ford and PR champion Yve Dixon recently popped along to their local art gallery to talk to artists there about the impact of colour blindness.
Talented local artist
Local artist Jonathan Ash, who works at Café Nucleus in Chatham, did not realise for many years that he suffered from the condition.
Despite being colour blind, Jonathan has become an amazing artist creating vibrant masterpieces on canvas.
Yve said: ‘Jonathan was delighted to see us, and to be able to learn from Charlotte about how his condition affects his perception of colours.
‘His paintings are amazing, and show that despite facing challenges we can all achieve amazing things. We wish him every success in the world.’
