Staff at Specsavers in Chatham celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by dressing in green and holding quizzes for the customers, to raise funds for The Oliver Fisher Unit, the baby care unit at Medway Hospital.
Thanks to the help of the staff and the customers, the store managed to raise over £200 for the great cause.
David Moorman, store director at Specsavers in Chatham, has a close connection to the baby unit, as his twin girls were born there over 20 years ago.
He says: ‘You can’t fail to be moved by the work carried out by The Oliver Fisher Unity, especially considering that the dedicated nurses run the unit purely on fundraising and donations. This made us even happier to be able to help them.’
