Already a supporter of the Surrey FA and the Surrey Youth Games, Specsavers in Caterham is delighted to extend its commitment to healthy living with its sponsorship of a Team GB trampoline gymnast.

Jumping for Gold!

Sixteen year old Louise Brownsey from Oxted is one inspiring young lady. Educated from home until sixth form, Louise now juggles her A-Level lessons at Uckfield Community Technical College, an Open University degree in Maths and a 20-hour training regime at the Jumpers Trampoline Club in Gillingham, Kent and with Team GB at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

Paramount to a good performance is good vision. Louise wears glasses day to day, but when she takes to the trampoline, she uses contact lenses for their practicality.

Provider of contact lenses

Specsavers Caterham has become the official sponsor of her eye wear, ensuring she receives the best professional service available and a free 12 month contact lens prescription of Umere Daily disposable contact lenses. Their silicone hydrogel material allows extra oxygen to the eye making the lenses comfortable throughout the day and healthy to wear.

Louise’s love of trampoline gymnastics started at the tender age of six, where the local home school group held fortnightly lessons at Edenbridge Leisure Centre. Louise’s talent was spotted and on the week of joining the local club, Louise won gold in a synchronized competition with her partner, Bethan.
