Specsavers in Carlisle is reaching out to customers and local communities in aid of the Guide Dogs Week 2015 theme ‘Let’s Glow’, by donning neon to show their support for the many people living with sight loss in the local community.
Throughout Guide Dogs Week, the charity’s annual awareness and fundraising week which takes place from the 3-11 October, store staff will be dressing up in bright clothes, decorating stores and taking part in an array of charity challenges.

Lisa Bell, Guide Dogs’ corporate partnerships officer said: ‘Every hour another person in the UK loses their sight, and the impact is life changing. The Guide Dogs charity is here to make sure that when someone loses their vision they don’t have to lose their freedom as well.
