Staff from Specsavers on Queen Street, Cardiff took part in Cardiff City Football Club’s health day to promote the importance of looking after your eye and ear health.
Hearing and vision screening
Ahead of the Cardiff vs Huddersfield match, Specsavers offered visitors the opportunity to have a hearing and vision screening, a number plate test, spectacle cleaning and a frames MOT as well as a colour vision screening.
Tested a Cardiff City official
Graduate optometrist, Joanna Long, also completed a hearing screening on a Cardiff City Football Club official.
James Deavall, director of Specsavers in Cardiff, said: ‘At Specsavers, we think it’s important to take our services out of our stores to events to promote the importance of regular hearing and vision screening and to engage with members of the Cardiff community.
‘Cardiff City Football Club’s health day was a great place for us to have a presence given that eye and ear health is critical for success in professional football. It was great to see so many faces ahead of the club’s victorious win against Huddersfield!’
