Specsavers on Queen Street has provided Glamorgan County Cricket Club players with Dirty Dogs sunglasses in the hope of a sun-filled season of sport.
Australian extreme sports brand
Specsavers has given each player a pair of specs by the Australian extreme sports brand, Dirty Dogs, to protect them from sun damage when the season begins in March.
‘It’s vital everyone looks after their vision, particularly professional sportsmen and women,’ said Frank Moloney, clinical partner at Specsavers Queen Street.
‘Protect your eyes’
‘We’re hoping we see a fair amount of sunshine throughout the cricket season and want to encourage both Glamorgan players and fans alike to be aware of the need to protect your eyes from sun damage.
‘We’re extremely proud of our relationship with Glamorgan Cricket and to be able to provide players with the right optical wear for their needs. We’re sure that the Dirty Dogs sunglasses will benefit the team this season.’
Specsavers in Cardiff is the official eyecare provider of Glamorgan County Cricket Club, providing support for the club through specialist sports vision assessments for players, as well as helping players, coaches and staff with their optical needs.
