Shoppers in Cardiff found themselves caught up in an impromptu disco when a gang of elderly ladies broke into dance at Specsavers’ Queen Street store.
The famous Dancing Grannies dance troupe, also known as The Fizzogs, from Dudley in the West Midlands, created a spectacle when they visited the store to perform for staff, customers and passers-by with their unique moves.
Having risen to fame after producing videos of them dancing along to hits such as Low by Flo Rider and Gangnam Style by Psy, the group has travelled across the UK to perform, and was even invited to perform at the Bahrain Grand Prix earlier this year.
The group entertained the Cardiff public for two hours, with some people even joining in to strut their stuff.
Lisa Vidler, store manager of the Queen Street store, said: ‘The Dancing Grannies were a great addition to Queen Street and had customers and staff alike up and moving.
‘We had a lot of fun watching them and it helped create a party atmosphere during the day, especially when several members of the public decided to join in with the fun.’
