Specsavers Camborne donated over 700 high-visibility vests to children at St Meriadoc, Rosemellin, St John’s, Troon, Roskear, Weeth and Trevithick schools to raise awareness of Road Safety Week (23-29 November).

Alan Honeybone, store director at Specsavers Camborne, who visited the children says: ‘Now that the clocks have changed and the nights are getting darker, we want to ensure that children – and their parents – feel safe when they’re out and about over the next few months.

‘By raising awareness during Road Safety Week and by offering the children these vests, we hope that they take extra care on trips and excursions.’
