Specsavers Camberley has played a key role in looking after people’s eye and hearing health throughout the pandemic.
The store has put in place various safety measures, including restrictions on the number of customers allowed in store at any one-time, social distancing, and bank card instead of cash payments, where possible.
And Matthew Stiff, retail director at Specsavers Camberley, was pleased to receive praise from recent customer Jim Langdon.
Jim said, ‘I just wanted to say how well I was looked after at your Camberley branch today. I had put off my appointments during last year due to lockdown but really had to visit now as my eyesight had deteriorated, although I was apprehensive with the current rise in infection rates.'
‘Any concerns about the Covid measures the branch had in place were completely allayed. I was dealt with by Chloe, Sheena and Rachel all of whom made the whole visit safe and were very professional. Even a quick repair to my current glasses was made whilst I was waiting for the eye test area was sanitised ready for me to go in.’
Open for Care
Retail Director Matthew, says ‘The team have been working relentlessly to continue to provide eyecare and hearing services to people in Camberley over the past few months so it is great to hear that our customers are pleased with the service we are providing.’
Matthew adds: ‘We remain vigilant with our safety measures to guarantee the ongoing safety and wellbeing of our customers and our colleagues. We have adapted our ways of working so we can remain open to serve the public’s health needs and every store is adhering to strict government guidelines to ensure customer and colleague safety remains paramount.’
Specsavers Camberley will remain open for all eye care and hearing needs throughout the current national lockdown.
