The team at Specsavers in Camberley is honoured to be shortlisted for a Surrey Heath Business Award.
Finalist in Community Action category
The awards celebrate the best achievements in business and the community and this month, has announced that Specsavers has made it to the short list in the coveted Community Action category.
As it sounds, this category recognises business owners who actively support their own town.
The Specsavers team has impressed the judges with their sponsorship of various sports groups locally and wider afield in the Surrey region, with their involvement in the Sports Youth Games and Surrey FA.
A word from the store director
Lateef Iqbal, store director, said: 'Camberley is a town I love and look to support with our health services but also financially through sponsorships and charity fundraising. As a team, we do what we can to put something positive back into the community so it's a real joy for us all to be shortlisted.
'This comes at a very exciting time for us as we launch our newly refurbished and extended store.
'We all have our fingers crossed that we might just bring home the award when the winners are announced Friday 9 March.'
