The Specsavers team in Buxton are proudly sponsoring the Hallé’s fifth biennial gala fundraising concert as Britain’s longest established symphony orchestra returns to the Opera House this Sunday (18th September) in aid of Blythe House Hospice.
Keen to support the local community, the Specsavers team in the Spring Gardens shopping centre is one of the main sponsors of the musical extravaganza in Buxton Opera House, with proceeds going to the High Peak’s only day Hospice and Hospice at Home Service.
Buxton's store director, Tom Rhodes, says: ‘We are delighted to be supporting this fantastic event for such a wonderful, local cause. It costs around £2,500 every single day to keep Blythe House open so it’s important to really get behind fundraising events like this as without the support and donations the vital support and care from Blythe House wouldn’t be possible.’
Blythe House Hospice provides care and support for those in the High Peak community affected by cancer, life-limiting illness or bereavement. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of the community, the care and support that Blythe House provides remains completely free of charge.
Don’t miss the opportunity to hear this outstanding orchestra. To book tickets call The Buxton Opera House Box Office on 01298 72190.
