Across three fun-filled days Burnham-on-Sea welcomed youngsters into the store, which had been decorated with balloons and Gruffalo masks. The store also hosted a colouring station, giving children the chance to put their creative skills to the test, and handed out goody bags which included Gruffalo stickers.
Rama Venkat, store director at Specsavers, Burnham says ‘The Gruffalo is a staple part of the lives of many youngsters so we wanted to do something special in store to mark the new range of frames being launched. It was a fantastic three days and it seemed the younger customers in particular thoroughly enjoyed the activities."
The Gruffalo kids frame launch coincided with the start of Specsavers ‘two free pairs’ offer which will see children qualify for one pair of specs free from the NHS and a second pair from Specsavers free of charge.
The two free pairs offer is available now and is valid for children up to the age of 16.
