Specsavers Burgess Hill recently celebrated two decades of caring for the community’s eye health by hosting a 90s themed fundraiser in aid of Guide Dogs.
Specsavers, located at 43 Church Road, hosted a weekend of celebrations and raised over £100 for Guide Dogs. Staff swapped their uniforms for shell suits and headbands and provided an action packed weekend for customers.
Children who came into store as their favourite 90s pop stars received their very own goodie bag. The store also held a raffle and gave away a number of designer specs.
Maggie Johnson, store director of Burgess Hill Specsavers said: ‘I would like to thank our loyal customers who helped us to celebrate this important milestone. As well as enjoying the celebrations we also raised vital funds for a worthy charity so it was the perfect birthday weekend.’
Guide Dogs provides help to thousands of blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide, mobility and other rehabilitation services. They also campaign for the rights of those with visual impairments and invest in eye disease research.
