Specsavers staff at the Brunswick Centre are looking to raise awareness about the importance of regular sight tests.
The store will be hosting designated kids’ clinics from the 16th to the 29th August at 10am to 12pm and will also be providing free advice sessions for parents.
Becky Allardyce, store manager at Specsavers Brunswick, said: ‘One out of every four children has an undetected vision problem, even though eighty per cent of learning is accomplished through our vision.
It is vital that parents take their kids for regular sight tests. Our team of professional staff are eager to help and offer expert advice, and we have an extensive range of kids’ frames which cater to a variety of tastes.’
At Specsavers all under-16s get a free NHS eye test. All glasses in Specsavers’ kids’ £64 and teens’ £85 ranges are free with under-16s’ NHS funding. They can also choose a second pair from the £64 or £85 range, free.
