Specsavers in Brownhills has recently been recognised for its high standards of health and safety with an esteemed award following a tough inspection.
Hard work and attention to detail
The store received the Platinum certification for the second year running for its health and safety practices after an annual visit from a health and safety officer, who praised members of staff for their hard work and attention to detail.
Store director Justine Page said: ‘We’re so pleased to have received Platinum health and safety status once again. This award demonstrates our commitment to customers as well as colleagues, who have been really dedicated to ensuring that the correct processes are followed.’
The accreditation was secured after demonstrating excellence in all areas of health and safety, including alarms, fire safety and equipment used in store.
The Platinum award is the highest accolade a Specsavers store can be awarded for health and safety efforts.
Justine continued: ‘These inspections become tougher to pass year on year, but with the support from our staff who ensure that health and safety procedures are consistently met and constantly reviewed, we’ve joined a small handful of other stores that have achieved this award.
‘We put health and safety at the forefront of all we do and are very happy to be able to display our achievement.’
