The Birmingham store launched an England-themed football competition in store on Saturday 21 June for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Football crazy, football mad...

The team decided to take advantage of the football frenzy that is sweeping the nation and offer a pair of sunglasses, along with a free pair of contact lenses, to the winning entrant in their competition. 

Running until Sunday 13 July, customers can enter in store or have a chance to participate when staff will be present at several community events during this time, including the Brownhills Canal Festival on Sunday 29 June.

The Brownhills Canal Festival, now in its 12th year, will be home to a day of entertainment with music acts and several community stalls, including Specsavers who will have employees on hand to provide information on eye care. 

Monica Brocklebank, store director, says: ‘The fundraising launch day was a fantastic opportunity for us to raise awareness for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The team and customers all joined in the patriotic spirit and we’re encouraging people to pop into store or visit our stall to enter the competition!’

The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to improving quality of life and chances of survival for young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer.
