A member of staff at Specsavers in Brownhills is celebrating are passing her advanced optical qualifications.
Chelsea Smith passed the Cert 3 course first time, which covers all aspects of optics including dispensing specs to customers, the anatomy of the eye, vision types and contact lenses.
Store director Justine Page, commented: ‘We’re delighted that Chelsea passed her Cert 3 exams - she worked really hard so a big well done to her.
‘We’re committed to supporting our staff and it’s always a pleasure to see our hardworking team develop their skills and progress in their careers.’
Chelsea joined the team in 2013 as an apprentice. She said: ‘I am over the moon to have passed my Cert 3. The team at Specsavers in Brownhills are so supportive. Any time I have a question, there is always someone who can answer.
‘Next year will be Enhanced Optical Services (EOS) for me, when I will take my Cert 4. I imagine it is going to be challenging and lot more work to do at home, but I’m excited to develop and help the team.’
