The team at Brownhills Specsavers showed their support for the local foodbank when they visited the town’s Christmas fayre this month.

As well as offering specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments) staff also put together two Christmas hampers to give away in their raffle, raising £82 for The Thomas Project.

Monica Brocklebank, store director, said: ‘For those who have fallen on hard times, the local foodbank provides a vital service in the community, so we’re proud to be supporting them this Christmas.’

Part of the Black Country Foodbank, The Thomas Project supports vulnerable individuals and families by providing three days of emergency supplies while a longer-term solution is developed.
