It was a weekend of fun at Specsavers in Bromley as staff raised money for Comic Relief.
The team at Bromley raised money through the sale of comedy specs, available in children’s and adult’s sizes for £2, and managed to sell over 400 pairs.
The store also took part in a number of other fundraising activities; having a red uniform day on Red Nose Day (24th March), as well as raising money through a raffle and cake sale and donating all money raised from repairs and adjustments to Comic Relief.
Their fundraising efforts were duly rewarded by customers, with the store raising over £1,000 for the charity.
Specsavers Bromley store director, Imran Khan said: ‘We’d like to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of our generous customers who helped us raise such a substantial amount of money for Comic Relief. It’s an extremely worthwhile cause and we’re grateful for everyone that contributed to taking our total above £1,000.’
