Specsavers assistant manager Matt Malone has been singled out for praise this month for an exceptional piece of customer service.
The customer said: ‘My glasses broke about three months ago and I had been dreading going into a Specsavers store as I was worried about them costing too much.
‘However, my headaches were getting much worse and I began struggling to see my computer screen properly at work, which simply isn’t doable in my line of work. Eventually I bit the bullet and popped into my local Brixton store to see what my options were.
‘When I entered the store I was a bit wary but I was approached by Matt, who asked if I was ok and listened to me as I explained my situation. He was extremely, extremely helpful and honestly did everything in his power to help me out, for which I could not be more grateful.
‘I have never experienced service like this ever before - he really went above and beyond my expectations. As silly as it sounds I was very nervous going into the store, which is why I put it off for so long, so I’d like to thank both Matt for his excellent customer service and Specsavers for empowering your team to be able to help.’
